Step into the realm where advertising meets innovation, and every kilometre brings a new canvas for brands to paint their colours across Perth. With targeted hotspots and dynamic content, October brought the first look at rideshare advertising in Australia, unlocking insights that demonstrate the power of DOOH. In this blog, we unravel the metrics and stories behind our first month in motion.

After rolling out our first fleet of signs on October 3rd, we got a glimpse of just how powerful rideshare advertising is. Travelling 21,000km's in October alone, Shiine allotted over 500 hours of advertising space to local businesses. Utilising our geo-fencing capabilities, we zoomed in on the busiest locations in Perth, with just shy of 40% of all advertising hours spent in high-traffic hotspots. The remaining hours connected brands at every street corner of Perth, with vehicles reaching from Mandurah to Butler and everywhere metro suburb in between. More impressively, with DOT integrated road-traffic data, our fleet generated over 1 million impressions in less then a month, translating to unprecedented brand growth capturing attention from a large part of Perth's population. But how did this translate to business performance?

October brought a mutual opportunity not just for Shiine to unlock insights, but for brands to reap the benefits from a shift in the Western Australian DOOH market. It was evident from day 1 that Shiine would have no trouble attracting attention, the typical response was clear 'what in the world is that?'. Early clients have benefited and will continue to benefit from this advantage, with notable search traffic and website growth of up to 300% for a specific campaign. This was achieved through our geo-fencing capabilities that enables Shiine to position brands in front of their ideal audience. Whilst attributing direct growth is one of the challenges of OOH media, it is clear that with impressions analytics, targeting capabilities and strategically composed campaigns, that Shiine is effective medium for businesses to connect with their market and new markets. This correlation is our biggest focus, to not just build the most innovative DOOH platform, but develop the most accurate data-driven analytics that enable brands to measure and optimise their results.
